Lutherock Staff

Van Van Horne has 29 years' experience with Lutheran Outdoor Ministry, serving in various seasonal and year-round positions at Lutheridge and as program director at Lutherock. He brings a passion for serving both youth and adults alike. Van loves the Dallas Cowboys, playing lacrosse and lightning prevention safety (he has been struck twice).

Nathan is originally from Columbia, South Carolina; he grew up attending both Lutheridge and Lutherock summer camp progams. He also spent several years as a summer staff counselor before starting full time in 2019 as the Activities Manager.  Nathan appreciates how camp gives folks a space to reconnect with themselves, nature and their faith. Outside of camp you can find him skiing, kayaking or volunteering in the community.
