Craig has been a part of our team for 33 years, serving in various different roles. He enjoys that he is able to do a little bit of everything in his role as Executive Director and he likes serving alongside our volunteers, donors and staff to make Lutherock a true place apart for our campers and guests. To him, "Lutherock is home".
Missie Bonser is an ELCA Deacon who has served in various roles over the last 20+ years in the Rocky Mountain Synod. There a special place in her heart for outdoor ministry; she and her husband met at Rainbow Trail Lutheran Camp in Colorado while serving on staff there while in college. She started her work with Lutherock in the summer of 2022 where she served in an interim role; she fell in love with the site, the vision and the mission of Lutherock and joined our team full-time.
Nathan is originally from Columbia, South Carolina; he grew up attending both Lutheridge and Lutherock summer camp progams. He also spent several years as a summer staff counselor before starting full time in 2019 as the Activities Manager. Nathan appreciates how camp gives folks a space to reconnect with themselves, nature and their faith. Outside of camp you can find him skiing, kayaking or volunteering in the community.
Robbie has served on our maintenance team in a part-time role since 2011.
Michelle began her work with the ministry in 2022. As a native of Miami, FL, she has enjoyed the serene beauty of Western North Carolina since 2019, spending her free time visiting waterfalls throughout the area. Michelle currently lives in Arden, NC with her husband, their dog Dakota and their two cats, Nala and Archer. She is thrilled to be part of registering campers for year-round programs where they will create memories that last a lifetime!
