Did you know that the Lutherock property backs up to the south slope of Sugar Mountain Ski Resort? Our 750+ acre site offers plenty of space for you to have your own wintery fun exploring our site, enjoy a family snowball fight or bring your own tube or sled and enjoy our own hills; then warm yourself by the fireplace in the Crow’s Nest Retreat Center with a hot cup of cocoa.
If you are interested in something a little more adventurous we are conveniently located to all sorts of winter fun in the High Country of North Carolina. Enjoy one of these local attractions this winter.
Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is just a quick 20 minute drive from camp; We can help arrange lift tickets for your group with advance notice.
Beech Mountain Ski Resort is about a 30 minute drive from camp; We can help arrange lift tickets for your group with advance notice.
Appalachian Ski Mountain is about a 45 minute drive from camp; We can help arrange lift tickets for your group with advance notice.
Hawksnest Snow Tubing is also about a 30 minute drive from camp.
Equipment Rentals – We can help you navigate equipment rentals to help you save time at the resorts on the day of; just ask us about this when you book. We recommend Ski Country Sports.
